Around Alaska Special Ops. Challenge

Welcome to the latest bit of wizardry by the ERA Events Staff. We just finished March Madness Basketball here in the USA. So, taking a cue from that, we thought it’d be a good time to have our own MAY MADNESS EVENT! How does 38 Flights in 20 days sound? Kinda’ wacky don’t ya think! Aren’t we supposed to have 8 hrs off now and then? Or are we bush pilots who go where the flights lead us and put our customers where they want to be. I guess that’s why we sometimes call ourselves “bushed” pilots!


For this event we will feature two aircraft…The KingAir B200 and the Beech 1900D! We’ll leave PABA, Barter Island LRRS Airport, Barter Island, Alaska, USA and head out for a 3886 NM round trip. There are 19 legs for each aircraft starting with AA01 for the B200 and AA21 for the 1900D. We ask that you fly these legs in the order posted so as to aid us in recording your flights.


Below is a list of the Flight Numbers and the Departure / Arrival Airports. All participants who complete the event will receive a Badge to be included in their Profile jackets. There could be spontaneous awards given on a day for most hours flown that day, or the usual softest landing, or perhaps an overall award for the most legs flown, first to finish…who knows…we can be sneaky here and surprise you.
