Hi guys
I am new to Era and I am wondering if there are any restriction to fly this event or any one can do it as at the moment I have not reached the 10 hours for first promotion.

Regards
Manuel

Ok, exactly how do I set the flights up, so as to record them? They're not listed on the flight routes,

Hi Tom-
If the flight doesn't show up on the schedule, this means you are not yet qualified to fly the aircraft associated with that route. Once you reach the hours needed to qualify for the aircraft, all routes for that aircraft open up.

Hi manuel-

There are restrictions on this event. You must have the hours necessary to fly each of these aircraft in order to participate in this event. Once the necessary hours have been flown ( by you ) then the schedule should reflect that by opening up new routes and aircraft for you to fly. We try to have a weekly contest that everyone can partake in but also other events that only those qualified pilot can partake. We have new members signing up daily so get those hours in the 206 outta the way and you'll be able to fly more events! Hope that helps -

Hey Tom,

You only need about 9 hrs. to be able to fly the Around Alaska event and it runs until the end of May so go for it. Fly some longer routes and then fly as many Events routes as you have time for! 20 + Hrs. gets you the KingAir and 30+ hrs. the 1900D....

Ready or not here we go-looking forward to making the grade. How do we get the flight times? Is there a schedule somewhere that I should be aware of.
Let me know soon or else I may not get to keep up with the senior pilots.

I'm not sure I understand your question Wayne about getting flight times. To start this event all you need to do is go to the schedule and either #1 choose equipment which in this case would be the B200 or the 1900D or #2 Go to departure airport and begin at PABA to Pafa . Follow the routes as posted in the forum. You have the hours. Did that help?

Well, let's see....we have 11-12 participants in this event with several newer pilots wanting to but being jsut a few hours short of qualifing. GET THOSE HOURS GUYS!

****The first one to have reached 10 flights is Brian ERR227 followed by Hussam ERR820.

****The softest landing, so far, was by ERR820, Hussam, with a -25 FPM at PAKT followed, oh so closely, by ERR850 Taliani Davide with a -28FPM at PAFA.

More an more pilots are jumping on so if you're on the fence, jump on in and make some flights!!! Opps, I gotta go land...........
