We'll be using the venerable 206 once again for this weeks Landing Contest. Everyone should have one and be qualified to fly it as the Type Rating Exams and Flights are taking place. So there should be no problem finding a 206 someplace in your hanger!



So, for this event we will fly from Ouzinkie to Kodiak Flt. Number: EW 40 4K5 - PADQ / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% (110.4 LBS) 12 NM

Next will be Kodiak to Port Lions Flt. Number: EW 37 PADQ - ORI / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% (110.4 LBS) 14 NM

Next will be Port Lions to Kodiak Flt. Number: EW 38 ORI - PADQ / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% (110.4 LBS) 14 NM

And then it would be kodiak back to Ouzinkie Flt. Number: EW39 PADQ- 4K5 / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% (110.4 LBS)19 NM



Contest begins at 0000 Hrs. your time zone SATURDAY and ends 24 hrs later at 0000 hrs. Sunday.

Well, we have ourselves a winner for this weeks landing contest.. Good ol' Sune Lind, RVF251, has once again taken top honors with a landing rate of -599 FPM while landing at 4K5, Ouzinkie! Nice going there Sune! What??? What did you say??? His landing rate??? what about it??? Oh, you mean -599FPM won!?!?!?

Well of course it did...nobody competed except Sune and he could have won with anything!! But he didn't win with just anything. He won with his usual grand landing style of - 8FPM at PADQ, Kodiak! And then again at -16FPM, landing at Ouzinkie....oh and then again at Kodiak and this time with a -33FPM!!! I'd say Sune iced this one pretty good!!

Come on out next week and give him a run for his money. What's happened to Brian and Chris and Etienne and Flavio and others that used to compete? Come on out you guys and get involved. Try a group flight on TeamSpeak.
