Just a reminder to all Pilots that we started our Weekly Event beginning Friday, Feb. 7th. at midnight. It is a Landing Contest where pilots will fly the same aircraft, to the same airport, with the same weight load, the same fuel load, and attempted to record the "softest" landing rate. Each week the airport and aircraft will change. You'll have 24 hrs. to try as many times as you like. This week you will have the opportunity to fly...............Ah Ha...gottcha!!! Stay tuned...there will be a landing contest this Friday, Apr. 18th. Details to follow tomorrow Thur. the 17th.!!!!


So, here is the lineup for this weeks event. It will be a one way route starting at Akiak with short hops all the way to Kipnuk. So enjoy the routes!!

1. Akiak to Tulukoak Flt. Number: ERR7H3170 / AKI (PFAK) - TLT / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% / 14 NM Direct.

2. Then Tulukoak to Bethel Flt. Number: ERR7H3171 / TLT - PABE / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% / 32 NM Direct

3. Then Bethel to Kongiganak Flt. Number: ERR7H3169 / PABE / PADY / 206 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL = 20% / 58 NM Direct

4. Then Kongiganak to Kwigillingox Flt. Number: ERR7H3166 / PADY / A85 / 206 / PAYLOAD = 170 LBS. / FUEL = 20% / 1O NM Direct

5. Then Kwigillingox to Kipnuk Flt. Number: ERR7H3162 / A85 - PAKI / 206 / PAYLOAD = 170 LBS. / FUEL = 20% / 26 NM Direct

Isn't Aniak PANI? Says PFAK...

Well, we had another fight to the finish with ERR251, Sune Lind, emerging the victor with a landing rate of -30 FPM while landing at Bethel. Second place went to ERR227, Brian Ritz, with a -36 FPM. Also at Bethel. Oh so close! Then it was ERR147, Cameron Gleichman, with a -45 FPM landing at Kipnuk. Then ERA483, Dave Maze, at -54 FPM while landing at Tulukoak. Fun little short legged route!

See you all next SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 2014. That's right SATURDAY...not FRIDAY. We're going to change up the day and see if it gives more pilots the opportunity to participate.
