Hello ERA Pilots. This weeks contest will feature some gravel, go figure, and a 3 leg route. The distances will be 14 NM, 82 NM and 83 NM. to form a circle route.
Fly any leg or all and fly as many times as the 24 hrs. period will allow. Details to follow!!!!!!!!!!! STAY TUNED!!!!

Just a reminder to all Pilots that we started our Weekly Event beginning Friday, Feb. 7th. at midnight. It is a Landing Contest where pilots will fly the same aircraft, to the same airport, with the same weight load, the same fuel load, and attempted to record the "softest" landing rate. Each week the airport and aircraft will change. You'll have 24 hrs. to try as many times as you like. This week you will have the opportunity to fly a circle route to 3 airports. You can fly any number of legs that you want...flyum all or pick and choose. Longest flight is about 31 mins. or 82NM.

So, for this weeks event we will fly from:

Bethel to Chefornak Flt. Number: ERR7H3146 / PABE - PACK / 208 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% / 82 NM Direct.

Then Chefornak to Kipnuck Flt. Number: ERR7H3164 / PACK - PAKI / 208 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL= 20% / 15 NM Direct

Then Kipnuck to Bethel Flt. Number: ERR7H3147 / PAKI / PABE / 208 / PAYLOAD= 170 LBS. / FUEL = 20% / 82 NM Direct

Contest begins at Midnight Friday Apr. 4th. and the contest ends at midnight Apr. 5th. (Saturday). HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Well all right! We had some pilots give the landing contest a try. This weeks winner is ERR251 Sune Lind who posted a -32 FPM while landing at Bethel. Well done Sune!

Next was ERR227 Brian Ritz with a -61 FPM also at Bethel. Followed by ERR483 Dave with a -79 FPM at Cherfornak. And, ERR660 Thomas, posting a -89 FPM, also at Cherfornak.

A little mix of pavement and gravel. Good job by all and Winners badge to be added to Sune's awards.
