PAUN(Unalakleet) to PAOM(Nome) is a 45 minute ride of pure boredom. You're over the sea and there's not much to see. I turned on the winter wonderland weather theme and WOW. This changed the flight completely and also adds to your pilot rating. Here's a few snapshots...

I would suggest getting an addon like Active sky weather 2012. This will make your flight sim fell very realistic. I use AS2012 for every flight and it really incorporates the real world weather and makes flying more challenging (less boring), especially in north Alaska where winds and snow in the winter time give white out conditions!
