Well, we had a pretty good turn out for yesterdays contest. 7 Pilots partook in the event with top honor going to ERR483, Dave Maze, who managed to land his KingAir on Kwethluk's gravel runway at a -10FPM. Now how is that possible? Oh the mysteries of FSX! It certainly wasn't talent...must have been pure luck.
Second place went to our new Hub Manager, ERR820, Hussam Elgammal, with a -32FPM landing at PANC in his 208.
Third went to ERR227, Brian Ritz, with a -70FPM in a 206 along with a new member to our VA, ERR130, Etuenne Brodier, also posting a -70 but with a 208.
So, well done to all who partook and we'll do it again next week! Also, just a heads up, PIREPS for the landing contest must reflect the date of the contest. Some have been posted a day before and some have posted in a day after. And they must have "landing contest" in the comment box when the flights are done "Your Way".
