Cessna 185 Rank Change!

Attention All Pilots-

With there being several requests for the Cessna 185 (C185) to be moved from our highest rank to a lower position, our staff has reviewed the rank requirements. In order to allow for use of the Carenado C185, we have lowered the rank of the C185 from Senior Captain (100+ hrs) to Captain (60+ Hrs). The Original reasoning behind the C185 having such a high rank requirement is due to the fact that Jim Tweeto's aircraft was the highlight of the C185 operations, thus making that a milestone achievement to receive. After several back and forth discussions, Era Virtual Airways staff has decided to allow that milestone to be easier achieved by those who don't fly as often but still wish to fly the C185 on the available routes. So now...If you have a minimum of 60 hours (keep in mind you are able to transfer a max of 40hrs from another VA if you choose) you will be able to fly the Tweeto C185.

If you have any questions in regards to the recent change, you may contact us for clarification.

Thank you for your requests...We are listening to what you want out of a VA!

-Era Virtual Airways Staff
