I built it using the scenery of Ultimate Alaska X....but other users without the UTX are seeing it fine. I built the scenery all off "Normal" density settings on the scenery sliders. If you have anything less than Normal then you cant see all parts of it. I can try tot lower the density settings....ORBX doesnt go this far north so that shouldnt be an issue.

I'm having the same problem running on completely normal FSX scenery, with everything tested on Ultra High.
Any ideas?

Liam

Try putting the scenery at the top of your list if it is not already. I had to do that above Ultimate Alaska as could not see the DC3 or cessnas or round silos. All works fine with it at the top though

Yes, there is still is no change to mine even with scenery at the top...the runway is partly there, except there are trees lining it and part of the runway goes under a hill, (as shown in the pictures in the thread here), so that if you attempt to land...crash.
Could it be a terrain mesh error? Is something possibly interfering in that area? Maybe PAUN airport scenery?

Another heads up - the runway is floating over the terrain, so when you taxi to where the cars are parked you fall off the runway. I have a feeling that when on the runway, you are floating...? Does that help at all? :)

The runway is floating on one end about 3ft off the ground due to hilly terrain and that was the only runway orientation to prodive at least 1500ft of landing space. I believe the issue may be that i built the scenery off Ultimate Alaska X scenery not even realizing it, and with the default scenery for this area being hills instead of a semi flat area like UTX fixed....thats probably why there is no real runwant...very small like in the picture above. Ill could try to build it off the normal scenery but according to the pictures i see, you might still run into even shorter runways due to the odd terrain it shows in the picture. Ill put up a screenshot of what it looks like on my computer when i get home.

We had 11 Pilots participate in the Kivalina Water Relief Event. Those pilots hauled well over 300 tons of water and supplies to the residents of Unalakleet and Kivalina. We used 206’s 208’s 1900’s DC-3’s C-130’s. and flew in all kinds of weather! Well done guys! . This was our first event using the new CARS system and the use of some addon scenery. Though not perfect, the field at PCWF was fun to fly into and out of and provided a test bed for future off-field locations. Thanks again to all that participated.

Of special note would be the relentless support of ERR135 Liam with 28 flights in our “Puddle Jumpers” and ERR707 Clifford who flew the heck outta our “Herc” C-130 hauling close to 212+ tons of water and cargo! Of course, we can’t leave out those soft landings by ERR401 Lee with a -8FPM, ERR793 Casey with a -14 FPM and ERR135 Liam with a -18 FPM. Nice going, our mechanics appreciate you being kind to our equipment!
